This is the original Vera Wang's dress Celine showed me~ And the ONLY screenshot we were able to find. So we actually didn't know how the back looked like.
We were experimenting on how we should sew the ribbons on the chiffon skirt.
Trying different kind of thread, the best one was a fine silk thread that was used for handmade kimonos.

Each section has 3 layers: front- chiffon, middle- silk and back- lining.
Deciding on which lace we should use for the belt for the dress (that is used right below the chest).

Ribbons for the skirt where the ribbons sewed from top to bottom of the chiffon.
Experimenting on how well silk and chiffon can handle sprayed water and heat. Turns out both fabric turn yellow pretty easily when you over heat.
Putting lines on silk
We decide to use this lace for the belt.
I wrote step by step on certain parts of the dress so I'll be confident on construction of the dress.
